Mask Aligner
About the Machine
The XRD Mask Aligner is a precision system for aligning frames, masks, stamps, and image patterns with micron-level accuracy. It combines AI-based vision, optical inspection, and X-Y skew positioning to ensure accurate alignment, lamination, image transfer, and UV curing across R&D and manufacturing applications.
Objective of the Machine
The Xma is designed to perform the following core objectives:
-
Align the mask window with the mounting frame.
-
Position images on nickel shims and PET films within the mask window.
-
Laminate transparent PET stamps to the mask window.
-
Transfer images from PET/nickel shims to the mask window.
Key Components of the Machine
-
Alignment System: HD camera with X, Y, and skew adjustments for precise positioning through a micrometre.
-
Stamping/Bonding Mechanism: Rubber nip roller for uniform spreading of UV resin, air removal, and uniform bonding.
-
Pneumatic System: Pneumatic cylinder for nipping and mask pressing.
-
UV Curing Module: Phoseon UV LED source for controlled resin curing.
-
User Interface: Live HMI with PC connectivity.
-
Inspection System: Vision-based system that automatically detects alignment marks and provides real-time positioning feedback for accurate alignment.
